Sinker misses outside by an inch or two, called a strike anyway, 0-1 on Soler Sinker outside middle, fouled off. 0-2 Sinker in the zone low/away, pulled down the 3rd base line, hits the kickwall, Verdugo gets to it quickly and down by 4 they hold Chaqpman at 3rd. The best reliever in baseball has turned a 4-run lead into a save situation for a save Holmes is not eligible for having created it. Hard to vulture a save. But, all's well that ends well. Another series in the book.

When was the last time we had an outfield that was this good all-around? Wait till we get Jasson back hopefully.

If we follow the script now, we’ll allow two baserunners and then have to bring Holmes in… 🤓 Wrong, buffalo breath! May the bird of Paradise tickle yer innards…

Yanks win 7-3, their 4th win in a row, and get to 22 over .500 for the 1st time this year at 41-19. They're 6-2 on this trip, wrapping up another series win. They've won 8 series with one 4-game split since the O's took 3 of 4 of them a month ago. They're 21-6 since that series.
Yanks keep pace with the O's and Red Sox, gain another game on the Rays and Jays. They're still 2 up on the O's and 10 1/2 games ahead of the Sox, and are now 12 1/2 up on the Rays and Jays.

When was the last time we had an outfield that was this good all-around? We had Matsui, Sheff, Abreu. But they couldn't field at all.

If you don't have it, add "Baker Street." I've heard that on the Simpsons before!:
The kid was a natural…

When was the last time we had an outfield that was this good all-around? White-Pinella-Rivers-Jackson was good, but not as good as these three. Maybe Raines-Bernie-O'Neill? Nope they're not as good either, great as they were. Probably have to go back to Henrich-DiMaggio-Keller, I think.

Is “You’re So Rude” on there?… Not that I've heard, but I just listened to some of it. Cool song! "Stuck In The Middle With You" - Stealers Wheel (Reservoir Dogs) www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln7Vn_WKkWU

When was the last time we had an outfield that was this good all-around? That's a good question, the Yankees had a lot of different left fielders during the Bernie/O'Neill era.

Woodling-Mantle-Bauer was very good but the other two platooned (not Mickey, of course).

Probably have to go back to the greatest dynasty of them all, the late 30's early 40's Yanks of Hendrich-DiMaggio and Keller.
