And on the 1st pitch to Schmitt, a sinker below the waist inside corner, he belts it out to left, 2 run HR makes it a 4-2 game

OK, McDonough says Shesterkin had been pulled. He leaves again with 1:20 left. The get a shot on net, but it's not a tough one, Panthers knocks it out, Rangers get it back in. Shoot it down with 25 seconds yet Rangers havbe it back in with 15 seconds, but it's knocked out again, time runs out in the corner, and the Rangers season is over. 2-1 loss. Too little, too late. Ugh, those plastic rats the fans are throwing on the ice bring back painful memories of Florida upsetting the Penguins in the 96 Eastern Conference finals. |

Slider well outside called a strike anyway on Matos, 0%, about 4-5 inches outside.
Then he lines the next pitch over 3rd, but Verdugo gets his usual great jump and route, makes it look easy, 2 down.

Stanton is 1-22... Almost anyone is better to DH.. Right now he just takes up space... Here’s what I’m thinking. Bring Dominguez up. Judge, Soto, AND Dominguez all get some turns at DH and Stanton’s role is reduced. Verdugo could even DH here and there. Of course we dump, Grisham. Just a bit of imagination… it could work… |
