Swings over a change going to the inside corner with a bit of drop, must've misread it as a FB, K. 2 down.

I thought we'd get Cone for this series since his ESPN game last Sunday was in Philly, but it appears his YES workload has decreased big time. Yanks will probably have Cone and O'Neill for the big media Dodgers series. Miranda... Slider outside, 1-0 FB high, 2-0 FB thigh high, outside corner, foul tipped into the mitt, 2-1 Slider at the top in the middle, but he tops it on the ground to short, Volpe a couple of steps to his right, fields, set and throws a strike to Rizzo. Inning over Bottom 1, 0-0. Solid 1-2-3 for Gil in the 1st, 13 pitches. |

Good call, they'll probably do Friday night's YES game and then we'll suffer through the national FOX broadcast on Saturday and Cone and the ESPN clown show on Sunday night. |

Cutter, same pitch incorrectly called a strike on Soto, also called a strike on Judge, missed by 3 inches, not close, 0-2
FB above the top, 1-2
Gameday says the called strike on Judge was worse than Soto's 4-5 innches outside.
WHAT? NOT A STRIKE?? WHY NOT???

Waist high Fb outer 3rd, Judge misses late and under, pops off 1st to Miranda, Soto bumps him as he steps on to the bag at first, bu Miranda catches, 2 down. No interference.
I wondere if Miranda does a flop like a trip in hockey if he gets the interference call...

Lewis had a great 58 games for the Twins last year, but again, injuries killed his season.
And he was 2-2 Opening Day with a HR before injuring himself.
