Change well inside, 1-0
Change tails inside, fouled, 1-1
Change inside an inch at the waist, fouled off Trevino's leg, 1-2. Ump gives Trevino a few seconds to recover from the blown.
And a change in the middle, thigh high, foul tipped right off the uhhh...ummm...the protective device. Trevino in a lot of pain. Ump delays for a bit.
And pitching backwards wipes out Correa, for he gets a FB maybe an inch or two below middle middle at 99 (yeah, he backed up the mind screw pitch selection by humping up on the FB(, and Correa just stares at a crushable FB for strike 3. Inning over. Great job by Trevino and Gil of slowing his bat down, then burning the FB right past him.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Yanks.
17 pitches for Gil in the 3rd, 47 through 3.
LeMahieu, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto in the Yankees' half of the 3rd.

It was pretty cool. Kepler got some leather on it, but it rolled away along the top of the wall. Not too often you see that… |

Very nice, polite well well for a nice quiet, polite solo HR. Good evening, pres. Trevino goes after a 1st pitch, 95 mph FB just above the zone, pops it to left, easy play for Kiriloff, inning over. Top 3, 1-0 Yanks. 10 pitches for Ober in the 2nd, 24 through 2. Castro, Vazquez and back to the top for Larnach in the 3rd. Well said, pres. |

FB up in the zone, outside middle, taken, 0-1 on DJ
Fb outside above the knees, 1-1
Cutter about 6 inches outside near the bottom 2-1
Shoots the FB for the low outside corner, misses by 4-6 inches, 3-1
FB up in the zone may have grazed the top, not called, ball 4. Gameday says 5-10% so maybe DJ got a break there.

hey qwik, tried to quote your post but couldn't for some reason I thought it was something like that, but couldn't help smart-a$$ing it. FB up in the zone near middle, fouled off. Chases a slider way outside, 0-2 on Volpe So Ober follows with a FB out there, but Volpe takes it, 1-2 FB above his head near the corner inside, taken, 2-2 Slider outside, but closer than the 2nd pitch, Volpe chases and gets a tiny piece to spoil FB was supposed to be up in the zone, but Ober leaves it just above middle, and Volpe inside outside a Jeterian single to right. DJ stops at 2nd with nobody out. |

Thought Ober was in trouble, but he throws a cutter into the FB zone that Soto takes advantage of, middle and up, and he pops it foul near the Twins dugout, Lewis catches, 1 down. Dang.

Cutter outside to Judge, not called, 1-0
Cutter above middle, Judge misses under it somehow, 1-1
Cutter well outside, Judge starts, but checks in time, 2-1
Vazquez bluffs inside, then shifts outside late, catches a waist high cutter on the outside corner, Judge takes, 2-2
FB on the outside corner, Judge mishits a flare over 1st that lands on the line and rolls into the corner for a big 2 run double!!
Yanks lead 3-0, and Twins must be mumbling to themselves about "not this (spit) again". All 3 runs on balls not hit that well.
