I thought we'd get Cone for this series since his ESPN game last Sunday was in Philly, but it appears his YES workload has decreased big time. Really miss listening to Cone. Too bad YES cannot offer him a better contract. |

Not sure who called time...maybe the ump because the pitch clock wasn't reset.
Slider bounced outside, Trevino starts but stops well in time, 2-2
FB up and away, Trevino grounds it up the middle, Ober slows it down, Castro charges and fields in front of and on the right side of 2nd, throws him out, inning over.
Top 5, 3-0 Yanks.
15 pitches for Ober in the 5th, 67 through 4.
7-8-9 for the Twins, Buxton, Castro and Vazquez in the 5th.
Braves got 2 in the 2nd, but the Sox came back with 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th, and lead 3-2, going top 5 in Fenway.

Ended up sleeping until after 1:00 PM. I've been cranky all day for some reason. But, I am just tuning in. I was cooking supper and paying bills, but I was able to see the replay of Gleyber's home run and the two run double by Judge. Other than that, I haven't been watching the game. Until now. |
