And which of the four DHs, Soto? He might not care for that. And you're right, I don't know why I vapor lock on Dominguez' name so often, but I do. So...it was just about this time last year when Judge got hurt. As I recall, you felt he shouldn't have gone 100% that early in the season in a "meaningless" game. Do you feel Verdugo should've pulled up on that play? He wasn't going all out and was able to pull up. Judge went all out, got hurt and criplled the season. My opinion hasn't changed.

Margot... FB at the top, not called, 1-0. Bad call, 40% on gameday FB inside middle taken, 1-1 Slider inside at the bottom, 2-1 FB inside middle lifted down the line in right, Soto goes over to the rising low wall, gets there, leaps over it, takes it away from the fan, great play, 1 down.

I guess I saw a different play... BTW...do you think Verdugo has played a large role in where the Yanks are today? Would he be missed if he went on the IL?

Curve down and in, ball 1 FB above the zone, fouled, 1-1 Fb inside middle, fouled, 1-2 Slider in the zone down and in, rolled over to DJ at 3rd, he double clutches, but has move than enough time to recover and throws out Jeffers to end the inning.
Bottom 4, 4-0 Yanks 12 pitch 1-2-3 for Rodon in the 4th, and 56 through 4 innings.

BTW...do you think Verdugo has played a large role in where the Yanks are today? Would he be missed if he went on the IL? Yes, Verdugo would be missed; he's played very well for them. But he's not Judge. He's especially not Judge when Judge was the only player on the team having an outstanding year at the plate. Rizzo had already gotten hurt in San Diego, they were the two guys holding the lineup together.

Wells takes a change down and in, 1-0 Misses a FB on the low outside corner, 1-1 Fouls off a FB above the waist outer half, 1-2 Swings over a change diving to the outside corner below the waist, K, inning over.
Top 5, 4-0 Yanks Paddack has now retired 10 in a row since the rough 1st innings. 1-2-3 on 9 pitches, and 67 through 4.
4-5-6 for the Twins, Lewis, Miranda and Buxton.

Yankee fan smacks Soto in the face! Outfield defense was one of my main concerns coming into this season. I've seen very little of concern out there, actually have been quite impressed. A very pleasant surprise this far.
