Cutter above the zone in the middle, Sananta whacks it hard to the right of 2nd, but Volpe is playing that way, dives down to his left to get it on a knee, gets up, wheels around and throws him out. Excellent play again by Volpe, inning over.

Dominguez had played 4 of the last 6 in center before tonight's game, and started in center tonight, so 5 of the last 7 games. |

Slider well out of the zone low/away, taken
Slider drops onto the outside corner thigh-high, fouled off, 1-2 still
Throws a slider for the low, outside corner, misses by 3 inches but called strike 3. A 2nd missed call in the at bat, but that one was worse than the 1st pitch slider. 1 down.
