As for the original subject of this post. Not really sad. Florial has the talent he has. He can seem to build on it. There may still be millions to be made in other countries, other leagues, if that’s what he wants to do…

Stanton Sux and should have been traded the second he hit his annual hot streak He will bat below .200 if he has the opportunity ... in otherwords if he doesnt get hurt last 20 games he's under .200 and under a.700 OPS ... he's well on his way to achieving those season numbers Dont be blinded by a hot start ... it's still Stanton You can't trade someone with a NO-Trade clause without their permission. Stanton had turned down a chance to go to the Giants before coming to the Yankees from the Marlins. Jeez this stupid argument again ? Stanton had a no trade clause when he was traded to the Yankees! Plenty of players have had no trade clauses and have been traded ! Or like JEGnj said ... The Yankees could end his career on the bench with no shot at 500 Hrs (which he doesnt have anyway) no Shot at the Hall of Fame (which he doesnt have anyways) They can give him the Ellesbury treatmeant Or they can release him and hope a contender claims him off waivers There are plenty of options At some point soon ... it will be better for the Yankees to pay Stanton to leave rather than take up a roster spot |
