Soto out again... Ugh.. I am worried there is more to this than just inflamation.

Without Soto, expect Judge to walk with regularity with men on base.

Yeah...but in the dugout last night he was shown playing with a bat and bouncing a ball with his left arm. Kinda what I was thinking last night. If you can do that, why not do this instead?… I don't know that it'd be worth the risk to play him, but it didn't look like he was favoring the arm at all. I'd think if it was something serious it'd be immobilized.

Is that a misprint or is Grisham really batting 5th?

Boone's lineup construction is just head scratching...
The Yankees' offense was performing best after he put Verdugo between Judge and Stanton. Now he's moved Verdugo up to #2, a spot where Judge has hit for 3 years. If you wanted the lefty between Judge and Stanton, why not put Judge at #2 and Verdugo at #3. I'm pretty sure Judge will provide adequate protection for Volpe, lol.
And how the heck does Grisham end up batting 5th? I get it that Glasnow has a .200 point OPS split in favor of LHB, but putting a lefty not hitting Wee Willie Keeler's weight in the #5 spot is hardly intimidating. Sitting Rizzo makes sense because of his slump but why choose the day where you want lefty bats in the lineup? Oh, and where the heck is Wells? He got pulled for a PH yesterday, despite making a good adjustment to Stone in his prior AB.

"interesting" lineup. rizzo sits. he's really been struggling so DJ (who had 2 hits last nite) plays 1st and ocab is back at 3B where defensively he's been very solid. w soto out, grisham again in CF.
the bottom half of the lineup looks more like something we'd run out there last season with gleyber the lone exception. not confidence inspiring when grisham is batting 5th.
glasnow has pitched well in 9 starts against us w 4-2 2.74 ERA w 63 Ks in 49.1 innings. only stanton has had any real success w 3 HR in 15 AB. among guys who have more than a couple ABs, judge hitting .111, torres .133, DJ .167 and verdugo .176. trevino's 1-3 and volpe 1-2.
need gil to come the rescue and prevent a sweep against a tough dodger lineup in probably his biggest stage yet. good news is only the hernandez's have seen him w only a couple ABs each. kiki 1-3 and teoscar 0-2.

Is that a misprint or is Grisham really batting 5th? Not a misprint at all. I nearly spit out my dinner when I saw the lineup.

Is that a misprint or is Grisham really batting 5th? No, your eyes do not deceive you. Against a lefty. Against a power lefty who K's a ton of guys. Against a power lefty who K's a ton of guys, and whom he's never batted against. Why? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
