Hernandez takes a FB inside, waist high, 1-0 Misses a FB at the top in the middle, 1-1 Swings over a change diving low over the middle, 1-2 Takes his timeout. Bad slider bounced way outside, 2-2. No chance. Another slider? Why? Right down the middle, grounded hard down 3rd past Cabrera, hit the kickwall for a leadoff double I question the pitch selection there. He's misse a FB up and a change down. Why go with the 3rd best pitch twice in a row?

Wow, there is absolutely no indisputable evidence that that ball did not hit the ground. The ball came out of and went back into the glove. What it touched in between, I don’t know… I think that's a fair assessment. You could see the ball at one point hit the ground, whether there was black glove under the ball or a part hit green is impossible to tell. That should have been call stands whether the umps ruled catch or no catch.

Change outside corner fouled off 0-1 Fb near the high outside corner popped to shortish center, Grisham comes in and catches, 1 down.

Once again, the ball finds the guy they are interviewing, not that Verdugo could have made that play any differently.

FB at the top foul tipped, 0-1 Fb inside corner swung on and misses, 0-2 FB at the top IS STRIKE THREE, not called. 40-50% on Gameday. BAd call. FB waist high, outer 3rd at 98, swing and a miss, K, anyway, 2 down.

That should have been call stands whether the umps ruled catch or no catch. It's also important to note that because this is an ESPN game, the replay officials have no other angles that we don't see. The only other cams they'll have is the MLB Network ballpark cams, which wouldn't help this call in right field.

Paints the corners with a fastball in a typically bad spot to pitch to a lefty.

I’m getting the Yanks in Spanish, which simply means sound muted. How bizarre. If I understand Spanish, it’s free… if not, some crap about registering with my TV provider. This is American, right? … Sure you're not tuned to ESPN Desportes?

Change outside middle, Lux takes it for a strike, 0-1 FB in the zone a bit up and near the corner away, Lux a bit late, foulsw it off and to the left. 0-2 FB dotted on the low, inside corner, not the location Trevino was sitting, Lux frozen thinking it wasn't a FB and ꓘ's, inning over.
Bottom 2, 0-0 14 pitches in the 2nd, and 34 through 2 for Gil
Stanton, Grisham and Torres for the Yanks in the 2nd. 31% K rate, 31% K rate, and 24.4% KJ rate.

Seeing some maturity from Gil, slowing himself down on that two-strike, two-out pitch, making the batter hold for a long time, then painting the inside corner.
