Bad slider bounced way outside, 2-2. No chance.

Right down the middle, grounded hard down 3rd past Cabrera, hit the kickwall for a leadoff double
I question the pitch selection there. He's misse a FB up and a change down. Why go with the 3rd best pitch twice in a row?

Wow, there is absolutely no indisputable evidence that that ball did not hit the ground. The ball came out of and went back into the glove. What it touched in between, I don’t know… I think that's a fair assessment. You could see the ball at one point hit the ground, whether there was black glove under the ball or a part hit green is impossible to tell. That should have been call stands whether the umps ruled catch or no catch. |

Once again, the ball finds the guy they are interviewing, not that Verdugo could have made that play any differently.

The only other cams they'll have is the MLB Network ballpark cams, which wouldn't help this call in right field. |
