Slider stays up but 3-4 inches outside, lined to left, Verdugo tries to slide to his left to catch, but only bats it down, keeps it in front, holds it to a single.
Perfect game over.

Dugo is becoming one of my favorite players. His clutch hitting has been a great addition. Exactly the type of player this team needs. Hope he's there next year... Unless Dominguez can play 2B(?) there is no place for Verdugo in the OF. For sure Yankees need a contact hitter to deliver runs. Of late LeMahieu has not been effective. Hopefully he can up his game after his IL stint |

Pipps, have you ever been to the Shady Maple Smorgasbord in East Earl, Pennsylvania? Amish buffet. I saw a video on it last night. Largest smorgasbord in the US. I have not been there Rizz. That's in Lancaster County and maybe 45 minutes from me. Sounds like something I need to investigate. There is a long-time smorgasbord in PA Dutch country called Bird-In-Hand Buffet. I've been to that one because they have a lot of genuine Amish food. Which is like regular food except twice as heavy. Good Shoofly Pie and Birch Beer! |
