Hampson... FB above and outside middle, taken for a strike. FB at the bottom, outside middle, also taken, 0-2 Blanco leaning back a bit as Cortes misses the back door with a cutter, 1-2 Cutter down, grounded to the left of 2nd, and as with Witt in the top of the inning, Volpe is there and starts an easy 6-6-3 DP. 2 down.

FB for a strike to Isbel, up and in, but in the zone. FB misses high, 1-1 FB near the high outside corner, swung on and missed, 1-2 Gets a FB in the middle of the drop the bat happy zone down and in, and stares at it for a ꓘ. Must've been looking for a slider, and to be honest, I would've also, if I were a lefty with a 1-2 vs. Cortes.
Inning over.
Top 4, still 0-0. 8 pitches for Cortes, thanks to the big DP ball, and 34 through 3.
Soto, Judge and Verdugo get another look at Marsh in the 4th.
Top 7 in Baltimore, Braves lead 4-0 now.

FB up and in at 95, he checks his swing, it hits the bat, and Soto says the bat hit the mitt for a CI> and the mitt did close before the ball got there. Yanks blew the challenge last inning, so can't appeal. 0-1 Change high, 1-1 Slider very low 2-1 Change about 3 inches above the top of the zone in the middle, fouled off, 2-2 Curve misses just low in the middle and Soto hardly flinched, 3-2 Another slider low in the zone, this time outer 3rd, fools Soto slightly, tapped up the middle, Witt fields behind 2nd, throws him out, 1 down.

Judge... FB just outside, waist high, 1-0 Sinker inside, takes it, 2-0 FB thigh high on the corner inside, taken, 2-1 Sinker in a bad spot above and inside of middle, and Judge barely misses, fouling it back. 2-2 Humps the FB up to 96, waist high, outside corner, swung on and missed for the K, 2 down.

Verdugo takes a FB waist high, outer 3rd for a strike. FB clips the bottom of the zone, not called, 1-1, 10% on Gameday Takes a curve in the zone low/away, 2-2 Gets a change in a bad spot, the drop the bat happy zone and hits it hard but foul down the right side. Change outside by 3-4 inches, he pulls it to the right of 2nd, not hit that hard, but Hampson fields and throws him out by a hair, inning over.
0-0 going bottom 4.
16 pitch 1-2-3 for March, and 59 through 4.
1-2-3 for KC in their half of the 4th: Garcia, Witt and Pasquantino.

Slider outside, ball 1 Cutter outside, ball 2 Cutter outside and high, ball 3 FB outside, ball 4. None of them were close at least 4-8 inches outside. Lost his slot?

Slider misses 2-3 inches outside called strike 1 anyway, Bad call helps Nestor there. FB at the top inside middle, fouls it almost straight back, 0-1 Fb in a bad spot, middle of the plate below waist high, but he fouls it, Lucky there. Throw over. Slider well low on the outer half, he drops the bat on it and great hand eye allows him to knock it hard back through the middle past Torres into center. A pretty good pitch, but just great hitting by an outstanding young hitter. Garcia stops at 2nd with nobody out.

Lou Piniella is the Name that Yankee, relatively easy one. They could make it a little challenging by making it Larry Gura or John Mayberry.

It's getting a lot better but I still can't run. I tried one mile on Monday morning and the paid came back to my foot. It's so frustrating but I need to be patient with it. That sucks, Chi. Sounds frustrating for sure. I know you miss the running. Maybe time to hit the weights and become a muscle man in the mean time! No thanks, I left just enough to get by.

FB in a bad spot waist high, inner 3rd, but Pasquantino fouls it off. FB just outside at the top of the zone, chased and fouled off, 0-2 Fb waist high, outside by 4-5 inches, Pasquantino takes, 1-2 Slider hangs on the high inside corner, and hammers it down 1st, but foul. FB in the zone low/away, fouled off Nestor wheels and throws to 2nd, but Garcia reads it immediately, gets back quickly. Tries the Laredo delivery with a change but it misses well low/away, no chase, 2-2 Cutter stays up in the zone away, driven to deep left center, Frisham going hard but caught playing him to pull, and the ball finds the gap, tailing away, goes to the wall, both runners scores on the double by Paquzntino, and the Royals have a 2-0 lead, their first of the series.

Yep. Good afternoon to you, Pres. Fb misses inside to Perez, called a strike anyway, Nestor gets another call go his way. Cutter misses above the inside corner, 1-1 Sharp grounder toward the 56 hole, DJ gets a bad hop but gloves, he falls to his knees catching, then throws out Perez from his knees. Good play there. 1 down and Pasquantino stayed at 2nd.
