Change waist high, outside corner, Soto stays on it, lines it to right center, breaking up the no-hitter with a leadoff single.

Judge takes a curve for a strike, so I guess it's 2-1 or he'd have swung at that.
Change bounced over the inner half, 3-1
Savant says he's thrown 14 changes today, so he must have thrown at least 10 before this inning.
Judge chases a terrible slider way low, misses, 3-2
Slowed the bat down, tries to blow the FB by above and inside middle, but Judge fouls it.
Throw over on Soto.

Big slider starts at Judge, bends over the inner 3rd and it hung, but Judge misses under it for the K. Missed a cookie, Aaron, 1 down.

Change to the knees outside middle, late and under, fouled down the left side, 0-2
Misses just outside waist high with a curve, Fermin tried to pull it to the corner but no sale, 1-2
Chases a FB zooming well high and away out of the zone, K, 2 down.

I think it is either too hot for the Yankees or they are thinking ahead to Boston, or they just want to get out of KC

Slider inner 3rd waist high, another hanger, but he takes big rip and misses under, hangs his head, the fly to center is a can o'corn for Isbael, inning over. Got a good pitch to hit on 2-0, but missed it.
Bottom 7, 2-0 Royals.
17 pitches for Marsh in the 7th, and 96 total. That's probably it for Marsh, but we'll see.
Lefty Will Smith and righty James McArthur (the closer) both on 3 days' rest, that might be the combo for the 8th and 9th.
Velazquez, Fermin and Blanco for the Royals in the 7th, and Nestor is still in there.

Dump bunt down 3rd, close to the line, DJ has no play, Nestor gets it wheels and takes a look, thinks better of it and holds the ball, bunt hit for Fermin.

FB down the middle and Hampson plain misses it, 2-1
Takes his timeout.
Flies open, misses way high and away with a cutter, 3-1
Back leg cutter is easily taken by Isbel because of the 3-1 count, ball 4.
Blake goes out there to give Nestor a breather, Isbel will be his last batter. Boone putting the quality start at risk by staying with Nestor, but Isbel is left handed, and Tonkin (warming) is a righty.
