FB up and in, fouled, still 2-2 on Stanton
Slider in the zone low/away, fouled
Slider misses 2-3 inches low in the middle, Wong pulls it up, but no sale.
Cutter hangs a bit, inside thigh high, bounced foul off 3rd.
Same slider as the one he chased for strike 2, chases it again for the K, inning over.
Yanks add 3 more, seemingly putting this one out of reach, and lead, 8-1, going bottom 9.
Tonkin probably stays in now with the huge lead, trying to give Hamilton, Weaver and Holmes a day off.
9-1-2 for the Sox' last licks, we hope, Rafaela or a pinch hitter, Duran and Hamilton.

We've got spoiled by Judge, I can't believe he missed this one. What made me laugh was that he thought he missed it, too, hanging his head, only to have to look up and hustle to 2nd for the double. Rafaela takes a sinker for ball 1, then a sinker inside is popped to Rizzo for the 1st out. |

Nope, rushed, flew open and thw sinker tails well outside near the bottom for ball 4.
Bad pitching up by 7. You should never walk a guy in that situation, especiallly after getting ahead, 0-2.

Hamilton takes a slider on the backdoor, 0-1 Takes another on the low outside corner, 0-2 Slider down and in, taken, 1-2 Runner goes but the sinker on the corner away is fouled Slider low, 2-2. Sinker inside, 3-2. Not again with this crap, Tonkin...  Slider down and in, fouled. Tonkin gets away with a mental mistake, Hamilton chases a sinker thigh high, 6 inches outside, and pops to Soto in left, 2 down. |
