Kenley Jansen is one of the most proficient closers at converting save opportunities in baseball history at 88.3%. Mariano is the best at 89.1%. It's weird. Closers can have very high rates in a great/lucky season, but if they're under 80% they lost their job. At 90% that's about the best in the game in most seasons. Change low in the middle, swung over. Change on the corner away, pulled over Soto to the Monster in left, rebounds by him a bit, easy leadoff double for Rafaela. The roided up Eric Gagne was 55 for 55 in 2003. That's about the best there is, but it was set by a cheater. |

Soto is 0-1 vs. Jansen with a RBI and 2 BB, so I guess one of the walks was with bases loaded.
Judge has faced him once and struck out.
Verdugo has never faced Jansen.

Cutter above and just inside middle, And Soto is jammed a tiny bit, his fly to medium deep left center is playable, and Rafaela gets there easily, 1 down.

Cutter misses just low near the corner inside, Wong again pulls it up violently, no sale again, 1-1
Cutter above the knees, Judge misses it by a hair, flies out to deep left center, 2 down.
