Hmmm...Braves did something interesting. They went with not one, but two openers, 1 inning each, then let Morton throw 6 from the 3rd to the 8th, and he still got the win.

Slider stays thigh high in the middle, a hanger, but Volpe fouls it off.
Volpe way out front of a change diving out of the zone away and down, K. 1 down.

Fouls off a slider low in the zone
Cutter hangs well high, 1-2
Change dives down and in, Soto starts and takes, 2-2
Slider on the back leg, Soto spits on it, 3-2
Backdoor slider waist high, fouled off
Cutter well high, Soto starts, but checks in time, ball 4

Slider misses just outside at the knees, 2-2
Slider misses low, 3-2
Changeup down and in, crushed toward the 56 hole, Devers makes a great diving stop to his left, rolls over and fires a strike to 2nd, forcing Soto. Judge robbed of a hit, 2 down.
