It turned out that our rescuer was a DNR cop. After he got us out he got stuck. We hung around over and hour trying to help get him out, but his back tires slipped off the road and he was hopelessly in the snow bank. We offered to drive him off the mountain, but he insisted we go. He had 4 phone calls to make and plenty of people that could come to his aid. He’s restricted by policy to not help out in vehicle rescues, but you could tell he’d done it before. Like he said…”You’re not getting a tow truck up here, so…” We tried to go to bed, but there’s still too much adrenaline in our systems right now. The car looks like hell… Was it your Hummer? Didn’t you just get the front fixed recently?

It was in one piece. To be clear, this wasn’t an accident. More like an on purpose. I wasn’t spending more time nor allowing Ruthie to spend time on that mountain. We didn’t intend to take that road, but we did. It’s a Forest Service road. They’re not nice roads. This one is rated “difficult” and deserves that ranking. It was the worst road I’ve ever taken…

Got off the mountain and home at 3:40 AM. Tore the front quarter panel off the car and other damage in an unrelated incident. The road was blocked by fallen trees and turning around wasn’t an option. I forced the car through… Glad you are back home safe and sound inger! Scary stuff. Good to hear you guys are okay.

We've been on some rough roads but fortunately never experienced that. Forest Service roads can be particularly "challenging". If a Hummer can't handle it, what can? Could've been a much worse outcome...thankfully you had cell service, got out safely and are both OK.

It was 2023 all over again except with a healthy Judge. If Soto and Dugie aren't having big games the rest of the team comes up small.

Right the problem is when you have to rely on dj/rizzo/etc and they aren't performing that gets exposed if the bigger guys don't perform Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

this broadcast is unwatchable You mean Duran really isn't a combination of Rickey Henderson, Vince Coleman, and Lou Brock?
Was so happy when Soto threw him out at homeplate.

Even though the Yankees were losing at the time, in my opinion, the turning point of the game was when Torres and Trevino didn't make contact with the bases loaded. It didn't help that they swung at some bad pitches.

Down to LeMahieu to get it done. He hit the flyball that I wish Torres and Trevino would have hit.
