Cutter into the top of the zone for a strike to Verdugo. Goes after a low change, inside outs a flare, but it goes right to Westburg, 2 down.

That's interference on Soto. That's a clear call.

Stanton hits a soft chop to 3rd, Westburg goes to field, and Soto just...runs into him, trying to avoid at the last moment, but an obvious interference call ends the inning. I wonder if Stanton gets a hit on that one. Probably not, ball didn't hit the runner before a fielder had a chance to play it. Inning over.
Top 2, 0-0 Yanks get two runners, but just 14 pitches in the 1st for Suarez.
Hays, Mateo and Cowswer for the O's in the 2nd.

That's interference on Soto. That's a clear call. As obvious as that gets, clipped him before the ball got there, i think.

Hays... FB on the corner away, above the knees, taken, 0-1 Fb outer 3rd, above the waist, fouled off, 0-2 Slider down and in misses well low, 1-2 Change low and away, tapped to the right side, Rice goes way off 1st, and with Torres behind 2nd and nestor thinking Gleyber would field and Rice would cover, doesn't move off the mound, resulting in a leadoff gift hit for the O's

Interestingly enough, scoring is different for interference depending on rule set. In MLB ... Stanton is credited with a fielder's choice and the putout of Soto is 5U. In high school ... with 2 outs, the batter is declared out with the putout credited to 5, as if it was a line drive caught. With less than 2 outs, the runner is declared out and the batter a fielder's choice.

Ugh. Inexperienced 1B costs a baserunner. Nestor should've got over though.

Nestor with a brain fart doesn't get over to first base to cover, resulting in an easy single.
