DJ... Curve inside at the knees, 1-0 Curve hits the very top of the zone in the middle, 1-1 Change waist high, outside corner and instead of going to right with it, he rolls it over to Urias at 3rd, throws him out, inning over. Easy 1-2-3 for Irivin, just 10 pitches and 49 through 3.
Top 5, 8-3 O's. Top of the order for the O's in the 5th: Henderson, Rutschman and Mountcastle.

Jerry Hairston for Name That Yankee? Yep. Had to look at the 2009 roster to get that one. 1st try, at least.

Here's Tim "Fool On A" Hill on the mound.

Hill in to pitch the 5th, and maybe the 6th. Sinker in the zone clearly, not even close, called a ball somehow. One of the worst calls all season. maybe 4 inches from the middle of the zone, 1-0 Sinker outside middle, that strike is actually called a strike, 1-1 Sinker inside middle, inside outed past Cabera playing off 3rd, down the line, dies in the corner, Henderson gets an easy leadoff double.

Thank you, Gunnar Henderson. The one time you have not tormented the Yankees.

Sinker on the outer 3rd, waist high, strike 1 on Rutschman. Fb misses up and away, 1-1 Sinker low away in the zone, chopped to Toores, he jumpt to grab it fires home to nail Henderson by at least 10-15 feet. Man on 1st, 1 down for Mountcastle. Bad send there.

Mountcastle... Sinker waist high inside corenr, taken 0-1 Sinker down and in fouled, 0-2 Sinker above middle fouled. FB in almost the same spot, fouled Sinker in the zone low/away, Cabrera charges, fields, looks at 2nd, then quickly turns and fires on the move, offline to the LF side, and Torres can't corral it, gets away for an E-5. The bad send might have killed the rally, but the bad throw by Cabrera might have re-ignited it. 1st and 2nd, 1 down for O'Nearn.

Sinker above middle taken Sinker inside fouled, 0-2 Sinker outside 1-2 Sinker down the middle, lined hard to 3rd, Cabrera leaps high to grab it, outstanding play taking away at least one run again, 2 down. Oswaldo taketh and Oswaldo giveth back to Hill.

Santander misses a FB at the very top outside middle, 0-1 FB missses just high, inner 3rd, 1-1 FB outside middle fouled FB just above that, hit deep down the left side, Soto can't find it, but lucky for him is slices just to the foul side of the pole in right. FB up in the zone in the middle again, fouled off the right side. All fastballs and no sinkers here to Santander, Interesting. FB outside at the top, fouled again. Not sure what he can use to get Santander here. FB just above and outside middle, belted into the Porch for a 3 run shot, 11-3 O's and that's all she wrote.
I have no idea why they threw him 7 straight fastballs. I have no idea why he threw five of them in a row on the outer half, waist high and up.

After a strong start, our pitching has come right unglued. 8,9,2,7, and 8 11 runs already today in the last five games. Never thought a <3.00 team ERA was remotely sustainable, but yikes. Hopefully this shellacking today doesn't mess with Gil too much mentally and he can bounce back.
