As a Yankee fan, what can you say after today's drubbing?.....
That it's a long season, Gil sooner or later was going to have a bad game(s). The Yankees need to upgrade their bullpen with lefty and a righty. Preferably one of those pitchers has the potential to be a strikeout Closer.

The Yankees need a SOLID closer. One they can trust in a tight game. Holmes back to being a set up guy, maybe.. There are 4 to 5 games lost because of ineffective work by Holmes..

I posted this in another thread, but the Yankees promoted Cam Schlitter from High A to AAA today. Unless that was a misprint that is a pretty big jump. I don't know much about him but he does have 71Ks in 54 IP. Is he being fast tracked for a late season callup? |
