Seems Yanks are always missing some key players when playing the toughest teams. No worries, the Yankees are going to win this game easy. Jahmai Jones is batting 5th! I haven't heard anything else re Gleyber. Any more info? |

I know Wells isn't hitting but Trevino couldn't throw Stanton out who can't run. Why keep trotting him out every game?

Chris Sale - The Human Pipe Cleaner - is as nasty as they come when healthy, which he currently is. He has 99 strikeouts and only 13 walks on the season. Rodon will need his best effort of the season to match innings. Hopefully, the Yankees can grind a bit and foul off some pitches to get to a mistake, and get to the Braves' bullpen in the fifth or sixth. Oakland torched Sale for 8 runs on June 1.

The Yanks DFA'd Victor Gonzales before todays game. Added Phil Bickford and Yoendrys Gomez to the 26 man roster. We are going to see lots of pitchers get injured with the pitch clock! It will get worse as the wear and tear on the arms get worse. No one can tell me that a pitcher throwing in the 90's today, throwing more pitches in a shorter amount of time isn't going to wear down quickly! Cole could have been one of the victims of the pitch clock! |

Doc says it’s just pollen/dust and I’m taking OTC stuff. It aimed like all heck last night and then again today. Surprising for this area and for June. I sheared the key off in mower yesterday. Better get it fixed, because the weeds are gonna jump up again fast… More mowing, more pollen… well, maybe the rain will settle the pollen for a while… |
