Please... Don't anyone mention it to IdiotSmoltz, but Grisham's HR traveled 348 feet, and at that location in the LF corner, is a HR in 27 of the 30 MLB parks. Shhhhh....

Boone bringing in Weaver with a 5 run lead because he doesn't trust anyone else.

Wall takes a FB at the knees, outer 3rd, 0-1 Gets jammed by a cutter up and in, pops it to the ShortPorch in short right, Soto comes in and catches, 1 down.

Arcia takes a FB on the outside corner above the knees, 0-1 Chases a FB well high, outer half, 0-2 Chases a change inside, fouls it. Spoils a FB above middle. Change drops to the ShortPorch at the knees, outside middle, taken for the ꓘ, two down. Weaver unfairly taking advantage of the ShortPorch, just like Stroman.

Kelenic takes a thigh high cutter on the backdoor, 0-1 Misses a FB on the outside corner, waist high, 0-2 Gets a FB up and away, drives it hard to the ShortPorch in the gap in right center, goes to the wall, Kelenic thinks about three, but pulls up at 2nd, down by 5 and two down.

Boone bringing in Weaver with a 5 run lead because he doesn't trust anyone else. Don't really blame him.

Didn't like that sequence, would have wanted that last pitch up and in, rather than away again.

FB catches a tiny piece of the high outside corner, AND THAT'S ONE THE PLACES HE HASN'T BEEN GIVING STRIKES TONIGHT, IDIOTSMOLTZ, so it's no surprise Weaver doesn't get that one, 1-0. 5% or so on Gameday.
Albies chases a change diving way low, 1-1 Cutter backs up way high, taken, 2-1 FB up and in fouled off, 2-2 Change dives well low, but stays near middle, and he spoils it down. Wells sets up low/away, but the pitch is a FB that winds up in the ShortPorch at the top of the zone, outside middle, Albies tips it into the mitt for the K that leaves Kelenic stranded, ending the inning.
Bottom 8, 8-3 Yanks. Top of the order for the Yanks: Volpe, Soto and Judge. Not sure if Chavez stays in, but I would guess not after throwing 16 pitches in the 7th, pitching for the 2nd straight night.
