Flies open and misses way high with a FB at 96.5. I guess his motion isn't quite right.

And now he's 3 for 6 vs. Cole; slider waist high, outer 3rd, but he misses up, pops to Trevino back near the screen, just on the 1st base side of home. Inning over.
Coulda been worse, I guess.

16 pitches for Cole and 60 through 3.
Davis, LeMahieu and Jones for the Yanks in the 4th.

what once he seemed to be a long lineup is now only 3-deep. 4-9 is a wasteland. with as lost as gleyber is, he probably shouldn't be hitting cleanup but really who else could you put in that slot that would make an impact. no one ...

Dj takes a FB inside, 1-0 Takes a change inside knee high, 2-0 Gets a break, as a sinker knee high outside middle isn't called, 3-0 Sinker below and outside middle fouled, 3-1 Sinker just below middle middle, he's late and under again, fouls that one too, 3-2 Gets lucky, as Peterson overthrows a sinker way high, easy take, ball 4. DJ takes advantage of the missed strike call on 2-0. |
