Slider misses low, outer half, 1-0 on Vientos.
Slider misses way low away, 2-0
FB in the drop the bat happy zone below and inside of middle, but Vientos misses, fouls it.
I may be wrong, but I have no idea why Gomez is considered a good prospect. He throws 5 pitches and has two breaking balls, and maybe he needs time to learn to use his stoff to get MLB hitters out, but I don't see where he has a pitch that can dominate hitters in any way.
Slider clips the top of the zone, not called, 3-1. 20% on Gameday.
FB at the knees, outer 3rd, taken, 3-2
Slider way outside below the knees ball 4.

FB below middle, popped foul out of play Change bounced over home, 1-1 FB over thrown high. FB just outside and below middle, driven to deep center, but Judge goes back on the fliner, and hauls it in a couple of steps from the track, inning over. Mets sweep the leg, add 3, and lead 10-2, going top 7. And I have to endure 15 more outs of this...  |
