Swings over a curve down and in, 1-2
Another crappy 2 strike FB, at the top but down the middle, belted to deep right center, even Grisham has no chance, 2 out double for Kirk.

Clement gets a FB at the top in the middle, foul tips it, 0-1
Slider down and in but in the drop the bat happy zone, hit hard through the left side for a single, Verdugo on it quickly enough to hold Kirk to 3rd.
Blake goes out to try to do anything to save Rodon from himself. Have no idea what they can do at this point.

Bicheet gets a slider outer 3rd, but fouls it off.
FB misses way outside at 98.
FB at the top in the middle, fouled back, 1-2
Back leg curve bounced so early, Bichette basically ignored it, Wells with a good block.
Throw over on Clement.
Fb at the top at 98, outer 3rd, Bichette spoils it anyway.

No chance change way outside, and Bichette simply ignores it, 3-2
Fouls off a FB on the low outside corner.

FB above the outer half by about 3-4 inches, Bichette chases ans swings under for the K that finally ends this disaster of a first inning.

A mere 39 pitches for Rodon in the 1st.

It got by Volpe because Bichette HIT IT 111 MPH, Ryan... that's not hard contact, that's very hard contact.
FB gets a tiny piece of the bottom of the zone, not called, 3-0

Fouls off a sinker thigh high in the middle, 3-2
Change misses outside, ball 4. yay.
