The Red Sox are only six games down in the loss column... Yanks might be in third place by the AS break... I hope not, but they really need to turn things around..

that loss to them 2 1/2 weeks pretty much started our current swoon. and they are an exciting young team but the reality is that since may 1 is they're 27-26 and before last night's nite win they were 5-5.
if we keep losing, ultimately we're gonna have more to worry about than the red sox. we just need to take care of our own business.

A few weeks ago, just after the Sox series in Boston I was up in Maine visiting a friend on Monhegan Island. She was born and raised in NY, a Yankee fan. She has turned Red Sox…. I don’t know what’s going on with this team but ever since that series in Bahston and my staying with this traitor… our Yanks have been doing nothing but lose. I’m starting to think this witch put a curse on my team! I may have to go back up there a hide a Yankee bobble head in her house!!! |

The yanks ran into a hot Boston team and most of the teams we’ve player during the swoon were playing well before we arrived. I don’t think there are any magical forces involved.
Soto has slumped a bit. Amazing that a guy in a slump can still OBP .500 in June…
