Feels like about the fourth inning with all of Stroman’s pitches…

All right offense. I need hits! I need HR! I need walks. Most of all I need runs…

Curve bends sharply misses outside an inch or two, called a strike anyway, 0-1 Chases a FB 4-5 inches high near middle, 0-2 98 FB 2-3 inches above the top in the middle, weak hack, swung under again, K, 1 down. Good morning, good afternoon, good night.

Trevino takes a perfectly spotter FB on the high outside corner for a strike Takes another perfectly spotted FB, waist high barely on the corner inside for strike 2 Curve just below middle, Trevino hits a fliner that stays up for Barger, 2 down.

Jones takes a curve way low, 1-0 Curve backs up and away, 2-0 FB misses low, outside middle, 3-0 FB at 95 waist high, outer 3rd, taken 3-1 Slider to the same spot as the FB, Jones pulls off it, misses, 3-2 Takes his timeout... And accomplishes nothing, can't check on a FB about 2-3 inches high near the corner away, K, inning over.
9-piptch 1-2-3 for Kikuchi, 45 through 3. Bottom 3, 1-0 Jays. Top of the order for the Jays in the 3rd: Bichette, Horwitz and Guerrero.

All we need now is the indignity of a perfect game loss…

Meanwhile, while we get to watch JD Davis and Ben Rice, our best defensive first-baseman hit another HR in Scranton tonight. Neither one is a big-time prospect. And good evening, nw. I don't care about "big time prospect". You have a first-baseman who was an all MiLB gold glover and is hitting .300 in AAA. You need a first-baseman. He was the obvious choice, especially with our infield defense that is well below average.

Pathetic first the innings. All we need is being no hit for the frosting on the cake.

Misses outside and low by 2 feet on the 1st pitch to Bichette, 1-0 Takes a sinker in the zone down and in, 1-1 Sinker just low in the middle, lined hard to right, Soto appears to lose it in the lights at the last second and lucky for him, the glove is in the way, or it would have smashed him in the face, 1 down.
