Fouls off a sinker inside middle, missed a good pitch to hit there 1-2
Cutter low and away in the zone, rolled over to DJ at 3rd, he fields and throws a strike to 1st, inning over.

7-8-9 for the Yanks in the 3rd: LeMahieu, Trevino and Jones.

Chases a FB 4-5 inches high near middle, 0-2
98 FB 2-3 inches above the top in the middle, weak hack, swung under again, K, 1 down.

I don't care about "big time prospect". You have a first-baseman who was an all MiLB gold glover and is hitting .300 in AAA. You need a first-baseman. He was the obvious choice, especially with our infield defense that is well below average. |

Sinker just low in the middle, lined hard to right, Soto appears to lose it in the lights at the last second and lucky for him, the glove is in the way, or it would have smashed him in the face, 1 down.
