Ugh, Soto is a late scratch. The hand from last night? That kinda makes beating Bassitt much much harder. Rice moves up in the order to 2nd. Cabrera will bat 8th and play right field. |

Sinker inside middle, late and fouled off to the right.
Volpe pulls off a cutter above and outside middle, 0-2
Kirk and Bassitt can't agree on what to call here, so he goes out to the mound to talk it over.
Volpe swings under a cutter up and in, and the Yanks start with a 3 pitch K.
