Swings over a cutter low, and inside middle, 1-2
FB inner 3rd waist high, swung over for the K, and the inning is finally over.
Jays add five, and put the game away, leading 8-1 top 7.
Cabrera, Grisham and back to the top for Volpe, and if I'm manager Schneider, after that long time on the bench, I let Bassitt go get his arm taken care of. His weak bullpen should be able to hold the lead against this lineup.

Lefty Brendon Little comes in to relieve Bassitt.
Cabrera takes a cutter just inside, 1-0
Maybe a make up call, because the sinker missed well outside and was called a strike anyway, 1-1. Missed by 4-5 inches on Gameday.
Curve outside middle, fouled off
Back leg curve/slider bounced and swung over by Cabrera, K, 1 down.

Curve misses 3-4 inches low, Little walks off the mound as if he expects a strike 3 call, but it wasn't that close.
Curve bounced outside, Grisham chases for the K, 2 down.

Volpe goes after a curve above the knees outer 3rd on THE FIRST PITCH DOWN BY 7, taps it to the left of the mound, Little fields and fires a FB to Turner, inning over.

Kirk fouls off a FB near middle, 0-1
Takes a FB near the corner up and away, but a strike, 0-2.10-15% strike on Gameday.
Chases a cutter inside thigh high, fouls it.
FB about 8 inches above the corner away, flails at it and misses, K, 2 down.

Cutter at the knees, just outside middle, Clement steps into it, drives it to deep right, but Cabrera goes back to the track to haul it in, inning over.
File that 1-2-3 under "Barn locked after horse stolen".
Top 8, 8-1 Jays.
Rice, Judge and Verdugo for the Yanks in the 8th.

The first change this team needs to make is removing Volpe from leadoff.
1) Soto
2) Judge
3) Out
4) Out
5) Out
6) Out
7) Out
8) Out
9) Out
Should be the lineup.
