I don't normally get on the umpires, but this guy has been very inconsistent today. I'm sure the YES box hasn't helped fans' perceptions either, as it seems to be bouncing around a lot today too.

Takes a slider so far out of the zone even this dope can't call it strike 3.
Slider near middle, but Volpe misses, fouls it off
Sinker inside, and I'd like to say he should take that pitch, but if he does, it's probably a ꓘ, and rolls it over to Clement, throws him out, an 0-5 for Volpe today.

Weaver here? Maybe Tonkin for another.
Varsho, Jansen and Clement for the Jays.
Tonkin threw just 15 pitches so they'll give him the 7th, at least to start it.

In the month of June, Grisham is hitting a respectable .270 with an OPS over 1.000. He's been the best Yankee hitter in June not named Soto or Judge. And the defense in CF is really good. Grisham is definitely a Gold Glove caliber centerfielder. |

Slider well outside, 1-2
Slider low, but he fouls it.
Fb outside middle, fouled off. Missed a good pitch to hit there.
Sees the pitch just outside, thinks it's a slider coming into the zone, but it's a FB tailing away, swung on and missed, K, 1 down.
