Of the 8 losses in the last 10 games Yanks have given up 7+ runs in all but one of those losses. True, but it's always nice to have one of the best hitters in MLB in the Yankees lineup. Just pointing out that the problem has been giving up so many runs... |

Cutter up in the zone, inside middle, tomahawked to the right side, he goes a step or two right, fields and throws him out, 2 down.

Judge takes a FB low/away, 1-0 FB inner 3rd, waist high, and Judge smashes a towering blast to dead center, gets way out for a 2-run HR, and for the first time in 11 games, the Yanks score first, and lead 2-0!!.

FB close, but still well outside, 2-1, Cole didn't like that call, but it was clearly ball 2. Missed by 3-4 inches on Gameday

Fouls off a FB above and inside middle,
Hangs a curve just outside middle, and Turner hammers it, but LeMahieu makes a quick move and grabs it for the 3rd out. 98 on that liner.
Top 2, 2-0 Yanks.

I like 96 MPH Cole while he gets settled in. Smart to not empty the tank and to realize it was too much too soon to bring the 98/99 stuff…
