Hi folks,I am an away team fan and wanted to attend a game next month at the Yankee stadium. Quick question, where do the visiting team fans usually sit? Also, is the outfield also designated to home/away fans as well? Thanks!

Personally I try to sit 3B side to see into our dugout. I've never seen a huge area taken over by a visiting team's fans.

I may be mistaken but I don't think there really is a designated or unofficial area where visiting team supporters sit. Just use common sense and you should be fine sitting anywhere. Which team do you support, keean724?

I always thought that the so-called “safe” zone was behind the visitors dugout at any ball park. Although you can’t see into the dugout, you get the closest look at your favorite team that way ad the come out on deck, etc..
Though I’ve never been to YS, I went to a few games in Baltimore and usually found a nice contingent of Yankee fans around me, though Baltimore draws a lot of Yankee fans to their games on a regular basis when the Yanks come to town…

Not for any "safety", but that's usually where most Yankee fans are.

I’m not a loud “cheerer” anyway, but have hardly even had anyone remark on my choice of hats or teams. I never felt threatened…

There are drunks everywhere. I had a .38 held up to my face once when I worked in retail by a guy that had been drinking and was “just kidding around.” I can’t say I appreciated that. A little over the top humor for me…

Too bad what happened with the Angels with Ohtani leaving and Trout injured all the time. I hope we don't turn into the Angels East with Judge/Soto and not a whole lot else out here!

Hoping i can get a good view from outfield at YS! I lived in Orange County for 8 years, also usually go out there every year when the Yanks visit, so I’ve been to many games at Anaheim Stadium. It was recently posted that Coors Field is the 3rd oldest ballpark in the NL. Interestingly, Anaheim Stadium is the 2nd oldest ballpark in the AL; only Fenway is older. They’ve done a great job maintaining that place…still looks great. As I said, the fights I’ve seen always seem to erupt in the RF bleachers. That kinda stuff can happen anywhere. Have a great time on your visit to Yankee Stadium! As Chi suggested, check out Monument Park if you can.
