Torres takes a FB up and away, and after 5 straight balls, Torres goes after a slider on the corner waist high,taps it back to Sims, gets the force at 2nd, India eats the relay.
It used to be axiomatic that when a reliever comes in with a 1 run lead and walks the leadoff guy, the next batter should always take a strike. Not anymore. Sigh.

Verdugo gets a FB right down the middle. and fouls it. 0-1
FB misses up and away, 1-1
Slider inside, fouled, 1-2
FB inside middle near the top, Verdugo late and under popped foul behind 3rd but Marte makes a difficult running backhand catch for the 2nd out.
