Grisham takes a FB inner 3rd at 97, 0-1
Misses the same FB a bit lower at 96, 0-2
Another FB below and outside middle at 96, swung on and missed, K, rally killed.
The bad news is that they had another RISP fail and are still down by 1.
The badder news is that they'll have to face Diaz in the 9th.
The only good news? Soto gets a swing in the 9th for sure.

Boone played like a cheap fiddle there. Doesn't matter much, Cabrera hits worse from the right side, and they had no other righty hitters left. Might have been better staying with Jones vs. Sims, maybe. |

Boone uses the closer Holmes to chase the 1-run deficit. Not many other decent options, considering they used Weaver for 2 chasing the deficit last night. And Holmes is on 2 days' rest.
