Splitter misses below the inner 3rd, 2-1 Sinker 4-5 inches outside, slaps a liner to the left side, Cabrera leaps, but slightly mis-times and it goes off his glove for an infield hit. Infield hit. What a joke. It hit is freakin glove. |

Cutter bounced outside. 1-2
If i remember right, Fraley has 10 steals this season.
Slider almost bounced well outside, Marte not chasing so far, 2-2.

Throw over. Fraley has 11 steals, says Paulie, not 10 as I thought.
Chases a slider well outside for the K, 2 down.
Would not surprise me if Fraley was running here.

Splitter in a very bad spot, just below and inside middle, but he recognizes late and fouls it off.
Cutter misses high on the outer 3rd, ball 4

This will be Stroman's 20th pitch this inning.
Sinker runs just inside, Maile chacks, but not in time, 1-2
Slider misses outside a good 5-6 inches, some in the crowd groan, but it wasn't close
Sinker into the top of the zone, inner half, spoiled foul
Starts the slider for the outside corner, Maile reads it as a sinker tailing for the corner, but it's a slider breking well outside and chases it for the K to end the inning.
Bottom 4, 2-0 Reds.
Stroman battling but running out of tricks, 3rd time through the order starts next inning. 23 pitches in the 4th, and 72 through 4.
Pitches by inning for Stroman: 14-15-20-23. Not what you'd call a good trend line there.
Soto, Judge and Verdugo for the Yanks in their half of the 4th.

Sinker about 4 inches outside, called a strike anyway. Possibly the worst bad call against Soto so far this season. Nowhere close to a strike.
Sinker misses outside a bit lower, 1-1
Slider misses below the inside corner, 2-1
Takes a sinker above middle, great pitch to hit, not sure why he took it. 2-2
Cutter misses outside, Maile tried to pull it back to the corner, no sale, 3-2
Sinkeer near the inside corner, jams him just enough, his fliner to right is an easy play for Fraley, 1 down.

GREAT sinker starts inner 3rd, dives inside below the waist, Judge swings over it, 1-2
FB on the outside corner, waist high, fouled off.
Still throwing 96-7 on the FB, 95-6 on the sinker.
Spliter starts off in the zone, dives to the bottom, called strike 3 anyway. Marginal call. 5-10% on Gameday.

Cutter waist high, inner 3rd, lined up the right center gap to the wall for a 2 out double. No-hitter over, at least.

Cutter hits the low inside corner, called a ball anyway, bad call, 70-80% on Gameday.
Sinker runs a bit insside, Torres fouls it, 1-1
Sinker bounced over home, 2-1
Sinker was supposed to go inside, he misses away and nearly brings it perfectly back to the low outside corner, just missed, 3-1
Sinker low in the middle, Torres late, fouls it off, 3-2
Cutter bounced outside ball 4.
1st and 2nd, two down for the slumping Volpe.
