Slider misses outside 2-3 inches, gets a generous strike call, 0% on Gameday and not that close, 1-1
Change dives outside 2-1
Slider into the top of the zone taken, 2-2
Throws to first way offline to the right field side, and Rice can't get to it, goes behind, Smith gets up and goes to 2nd on the E-1.
Bad slider just above middle, popped high behind home, but it just gets over the screen, dangit.

Got away with another bad slider.
Outer half, above middle, fouled almost straight back.
20th pitch of the inning here.
The GOOD slider down and in gets a swing over for the K. That's a big pitch against lefties if he can master it. 3rd time tonight he's gotten a K against a lefty on the slider down and in. 2 down.
Blake comes out to give Gil a breather.

Bad slider in the drop the bat happy zone on the corner thigh high, Hamilton is waiting for it, and hits it deep down the line but well foul, 0-1
Gets under a FB, loses it well outside and high, 1-1
Slider misses the outside corner by an inch or two, gets the break on that call again, 0% on Gameday, not as bad as the one he got against Duran. 1-2
Gets way under a change misses well outside, 2-2
FB almost a foot high near middle, Hamilton flails wildly and K's, inning over.
Gil has to work hard, but gets through the 6th unschathed. I don't think he starts the 7th. The Sox are getting closer to hitting him.
25 pitches and 86 through 6. Wish I could say the Yanks are getting closer to hitting Crawford.
7-8-9 for the Yanks in the 6th: Cabrera, Grisham and LeMahieu.

Splitter in the middle above the knees, Cabrers serves it up the middle for a leadoff hit.
