Finally gives Parades what he wants, but not where he wants. Sinker well above the zone is popped to short left center, Volpe goes back, and makes an almost in and out of the mitt ice cream cone catch, 2 down.

And that's it for Tonkin, as Boone continues to chase the 1-run defiicit by bringing in Kahnle to Face DeLuca. Sorta had to, Tonkin was up to 32 pitches.

Slider well outside, and DeLuca takes a 3/4 swing and serves it over 1st to right for a hit, Soto tracks it down toward the line, and by the time he can get there, Siri beats the relay home eassily on the RBI double by DeLuca.
5-3 Rays, and that might be all she wrote tonight.

For those thinking the Yanks can tie this up, they have 2 runs off of Fairbanks in 14 1/3 innings in 18 games, never more than one in a season, much less an inning.
