FB well high near the inside corner, 1-0
Steps off to look Rosario back to 2nd
FB at 97 on the outside corner, waist high, swung on and missed, 1-1
Good change diving low in the middle swung over, 1-2
FB up and in makes DeLuca spin out of there, 2-2.
And this is the 30th pitch of the inning coming..
Bounces the change, and an easy take for DeLuca, settting the runners loose on 3-2.

FB almost down the middle at 99, foul-tipped into the mitt for the inning-ending K.
Rodon gets out of the jam, but will have a tough time getting through 5 innings now.
31 pitches in the 3rd, and 74 through 3.
Top 4, 4-1 Rays.
Torres, Wells and Volpe for the Yanks in the 4th.
Cubs lead the O's 7-2 in the 5th in Baltimore
Sox lead the A's 3-2 in the 4th at Fenway.
Jays-Giants starts about 1 hour, 50 minutes from now.

Thought it was the change going outside, but it was a slider breaking middle instead. Regardless of what type of pitch he might be looking for, he should protecting the plate when down two strikes... That would be fundamental baseball. We don't do a lot of that. |

FB is high by 2-3 inches, near middle, called a strike anyway, bad call, should've been ball 4, 0% on Gameday and not particularly close.
Takes a change above and outside middle, 3-2
Takes a change in the zone down and in, strike 3.
Torres beefs a bit about the 3-0 call, but he just took 2 in the zone for the ꓘ.
