I just watched Cashman's interview. It astonished me how much Cashman's talking points where almost exactly the same as Boone's. I guess I shouldn't been surprised. No real sense of urgency which kind of p$ssed me off. But then I am not a general manager, just a fan. If Cashman said, "the season will be what it is", I wouldn't have been surprised because that is how he sounded. He DID say it is up to Boone and the coaches to turn the team around since "HE DOESN'T GET INTO THOSE WEEDS" (my words, not his), but it sure sounded that way. Watch out Boone...

Cashman's interview was so bland. No passion, no emotion, no nothing, just the company line and talking points. I guess that's par for the course.

Sounds like a guy who is so comfortable in his position that he knows he's not going anywhere.
