Cutter into the top of the zone, smashes it right to Torres, and for once, the DP ball becomes a Double play, despite Walls' speed, 4-6-3.
Again, the Yanks very lucky on location, because that ball was also hit hard, 100.6 mph.
Top 7, 2-1 Yanks.
7-8-9 for the Yanks in the 7th: Grisham, Trevino and LeMahieu.

What happened to Volpe? He swings at everything within 6 inches of the strike zone! Take some damn pitches !! We need to get Vivas up here to at least put pressure on Volpe and Gleyber Not only is that true, but what’s up with the coaching staff not putting an end to it?… |

Grisham takes a sinker above and inside middle, 0-1
Cutter in the same spot, fouled down the left side, 0-2
FB misses up and away by 2-3 inches, 1-2
Curve bounced over home, 2-2
Gets a sinker above the waist, down the middle...and just...watches it...go by. ꓘ. 1 down.

Takes a sinker in the zone low/away, 0-1 on Trevino.
Sinker runs well inside, Trevino chases it, rolls it over to Paredes for the 2nd out. Had no business swinging at the pitch, throw was a bit offline, but Diaz made a good stretch, 2 down.

LeMahieu takes a waist high sinker on the corner away, 0-1
Takes another sinker knee high, outer 3rd, 0-2
Takes his timeout.
Slider just a bit outside of where the 2nd sinker went, spoiled.
Sinker well inside, waist high, chased and fouled
Curve just below where the 0-2 slider went, fouled of the ground, bounces up and hits DJ in the face/throat, and he's kneeling down in pain. Trainer and Boone coming out to check on him.
