Wow, terrible call at second base and Rays don't challenge. Yeah, was wondering about that. the glove was down before the hand touched the bag, but the foot didn't slide into the mitt before the hand touched, I thought. |

I guess the umpire thought that the glove contacted the calf, because if they were looking at the tag of the foot, the hand was clearly in. Someone in the Tampa dugout is asleep at the switch. |

One of the best drummer fro's in the business. Great clip. My favorite song from them. That and "Bad Time." I'd like this song more if they cut the last 5 minutes of it where the repeat the same thing over and over again. |

Rice takes a sinker well low outside middle, bad call, called a strike and not close, 3-4 inches low, 0% on Gameday
Sweeper winds up above and outside middle, he pops it foul out of play off 3rd.
Takes the curve well low over the middle, 1-2
Takes a change well low near the corner inside, 2-2
Goes after a cutter about 6-8 inches outside, can't check in time, 3rd base ump rings him up, K, inning over.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Yanks
14 pitch 1-2-3 for Eflin in the 3rd and 48 through 3.
Walls, then back to the top for Diaz and B. Lowe for the Rays in the 3rd.

Late to the dance, but I saw Volpe score the run while I was eating dinner. Then I had to call and see if I have jury duty tomorrow. I do… which is alright. I just have to get up tomorrow whether I sleep or not…I can do it…

Rays have another runner on as the #9 hitter gets on. |

Umps make Stroman change his glove, maybe thinking he was using so stickum, but they didn't throw him out.
Walls takes a cutter high, 1-0
Cutter inside, jams him, the flare into short left, Volpe dives to his right, can't get it, drops in for a single. Lemahieu too far in, and Volpe was playing almost behind 2nd, couldn't quite get to it.
And the non-stop basestealing resumes...

The last time I got jury duty, not only did I get a case, I ended up on the jury and serving as the foreman. |
