Doesn't Eflin look a little like Nathan Eovaldi??? Same assortment, basically, but doesn't throw as hard, about 3-4 mph slower. |

Again starts Arozarena with a fat sinker, inner 3rd, waist high, but he takes it, 0-1
Cutter outer half at the knees, fouled off, 0-2
Gets him to chase the cutter outside, Arozarena tries to pull, pops to LeMahieu, who coms down the line halfway to home, calls off Stroman, catches, 1 down.

Palacios takes a sinker that missed the top of the zone 1-0.
Sinker gets a small piece of the corner inside, maybe 10%, 1-1
Cutter hits the top of the zone, outer 3rd, not called, bad call, 50-50 on Gameday, 2-1
Fouls off a sinker below and inside middle middle, 2-2
Gets a curve below middle and misses it, pops it behind 2nd, Volpe there, 2 down.

1st pitch cutter at the knees, just outside middle and again, Siri gives it a ride, but got under this one too, and flies out to Soto on the track in right, inning over. Much needed fast inning for Stroman, a 1-2-3 on just 9 pitches and 63 through 4 innings.
Top 5, 2-0 Yanks.
LeMahieu, then back to the top for Verdugo and Soto for the Yanks in the 5th.

Sinker inside tied him up, rolls it over to short, Walls charges, fields and throws him out, 1 down.

Verdugo takes a sinker at the knees, inner half, 0-1
Cutter inside waist high, he turns on it and belts it down the line, but Diaz was playing that way dives to his left, backhands, takes it to the bag. Good defense and positioning robbed Alex of a double on that one.
