Misses a waist high FB on the corner away, 0-2
Cortes watches Siri dance, then steps off.
FB misses just up and away, Jackson doesn't chase, 1-2
Cutter or FB waist high, inner 3rd, but Jackson jams himself, pops to Torres on the right side of 2nd, and Nestor gets out of it.
Top 3, 2-1 Rays. 18 piches in the 2nd for Cortes, 36 through 2. Now he has to get through the guys who work him over good next inning.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 3rd: Verdugo, Soto and Judge.

Yes, but statcast ignores the 5-10% extra carry factor at high altitude in those HR yes or no determinations. Cutter at the top, outer half, swung on and missed, Caballero K's, 1 down. Yeah, I thought Wells crushed that one. Coors is deep down the lines, compared to most ballparks. 350 down the line, where Wells hit it, it would've carried out in Coors as well, on the extra 5-10 carry factor at altitude. Verdugo turns on a slider inside, pulls it foul Swings over a back leg curve, 0-2 Back leg slider is bounced, Verdugo doesn't bit, 1-2 Slider backs up and away, 2-2 Big slow curve into the zone inside middle, rolled up the middle, Caballero gets to it on the right side of 2nd, throws him out, 1 down. |

1st pitch FB up in the zone, middle-out, Soto does what he does with a FB he can guess on early in the count, drives it way out to left center, ties the game with a solo HR!!. 2-2.
