Yes this team still is tops in the league or close to it in most offensive stats and even in this slump are still top 10 statistically in offense the pitching needs to be more consistent. We never even go to hear a word of testimony. I took all morning to select the jury, and then they said they’d had a hiccup and the case would be tried tomorrow morning, so…back again. Nestor getting knocked around… During the trial tomorrow, at some point stand up and offer the judge some advice. They love that sort of thing.  This Judge has been pretty cool. A soft touch, he’s recused about a dozen jurors, which is part of why we got nothing done today… |

A soft touch, he’s recused about a dozen jurors, which is part of why we got nothing done today… I asked the judge once why they added a service fee for some fines and not for others and thought I was going to be held in contempt but the judge said that's a good question and appreciated I was so interested. Do I need to tell him to take a strike?
Apparently I do, because he chases a marginal FB near the top outside corner, and though he made good contact, he sliced it foul down the left side.
Takes a slider that maybe missed high, but called strike 2 anyway.
Slider inside corner fouled
On the 2-0 pitch, Gameday says 1-2% strike, but he shouldn't be swinging at the pitch on 2-0 down by 3.
The 2-1 cutter maybe 0-1% on Gameday, so marginal
Takes a slider inside 3-2.
Slider in the same place as the 2-1 cutter, lined to right for a leadoff single. OK, Cabrera, you're right, and I'm wrong.

Rotation is def a worry and I hope they make some kind of trade. Schmidt being out def hurt them because while he can't give the innings he usually doesn't give up a lot of runs. Change low/away, topped up the 1st base line, Baz has a play at 1st, but lets it roll foul, 0-2
Takes a slider well below the knees, near middle, 1-2
Throw over isn't close.
Flies open a bit and the change is well outside, knee high, 2-2
FB starts for the outside corenr at 98, tails outside, and Verdugo can't spoil, misses for the K, 1 down.

I suppose they could use Gomez, but I think he's more of a bullpen arm (where we also need help). Warren had a really good outing last time out; hopefully he can turn around what's been a bad season. |

Slider down and in makes Soto jackknife then job toward the Yankees dugout, 1-0
Slider with good two plane movment, but it misses 4-5 inches inside, 2-0
Change starts off low in the zone, drops low over the middle, but Soto recognizes, and takes, 3-0
FB misses by 3 inches high, outer 3rd, ball 4.
Yanks bring the tying run to the plate, but Cash won't give Judge a shot against an obviously struggling Baz, takes him out right here, two outs short of qualifying for the W.
