lol.
Here;s the pic of our food:
Mmmm, look at all that juice in that plate. Someone please hand me a piece of Italian bread. Honestly, don't mean to be overly critical, but there's nothing about that that looks appetizing to me...including the setting and presentation.

Pitching coach goes out to talk to Baker to give Perez, a lefty, time to get loose to face Soto. So far, he's ERA this season doesn't show it, but Baker is a pretty good pitcher. If he pitches well, he's going to make a lot of dough.

Yikes. Hope Kjerstad's okay. Yeah, I hope he's fine. I doubt that it was intentional, but I can't blame the Orioles for getting upset.

Melt in your mouth prime rib, one of the best burgers I've ever had split in half for appetizer, and a wonderful steak cooked medium rare. Lookup 4 Charles its a must visit for any meat lover in the city.

I have very simple tastes...sandwiches, burgers, pizza, etc. & beer.

I have simple tastes too. Half the time at home I will make myself a sandwich for dinner. The highlight of my eating week is usually getting ice cream delivered.
When I visit friends in the city or in Jersey City though, we have a tradition of visiting well reviewed restaurants in the city. Its our little thing.

Understood...food is just fuel to me. I can't remember the last time I went out for a more "formal" dinner.

That's great Kaybli. I love trying different restaurants from the simple to the sophisticated.
A long time ago I was at a sophisticated restaurant until some elderly man a couple of tables away started farting loudly. I don't know what he ate but he sounded like brass band. I wasn't within scent range so I got a great laugh out of it.

We grew up with headhunters in MLB, but they are a dying breed and good riddance. I never wanted Roger Clemens on the Yankees for that reason, and Pedro Martinez pointing to his head vilified him in my eyes. Given the point in the game and the circumstances as well as the pitcher, Hyde certainly should know that hitting the batter in the ear hole of the helmet was not intentional. It is understandable to be emotional in the moment, but a manager attempting to charge the opposition’s dugout was ridiculous. Had Gunnar Henderson been hurt in the scrum, that would have been on Hyde being a meathead, as not a single Orioles player had departed the dugout until that over-the-top moment. Now, we face a chance of retaliation. What if the Yankees lose Judge for the year or even his career? All because Hyde didn’t like what someone said. Wanting to physically harm another human being for something said in emotional circumstances is not leadership but arrested development. Rizz, you seem to be someone who is more disciplined and better able to control your emotions than I. I admire that. Growing up with a hair-trigger tempered father whose first reaction to even minor annoyances was to grab anything near to beat you with provides early clarity. Not every situation is a life-threatening event to you or your family. There is a time to fight without hesitation and to do so by eliminating the threat as quickly as possible - those situations are extremely rare. At all other times, someone has to be the calmest person in the room, and it may as well be you. Most potential altercations are easily avoided by simply adopting the appropriate demeanor and a few well-chosen words. Just because you can hurt and harm someone, doesn't mean you must or should.

If Dykes stirred things up after an O's player got hit in the head, then he's wrong and Boone should speak to him about it in private, to make sure he doesn't do anything that stupid again. If that is true, then what Hyde did is comepletely understandable. I think it's more likely that the Yankee bench so Hyde yelling at Holmes and defended their pitcher, like they should. OK, if he's yelling at Holmes first, then you're right, and I'm wrong. It depends on who really started it.

It depends on who really started it. Last comment I'll make on the incident, promise, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong but Boone really tried to downplay it and said he understood Hyde's reaction. The other thing was I didn't hear Boone mention Holmes or that it was unintentional. Boone is such a players manager I expected him to make that point, perhaps he felt it was obvious or he did say somthing and I missed it.
