Just to get some normalcy after the political violence that just ended occurred. Great two games by the Yankees to pull even in the division with the Orioles. Judge just needed Camden Yards to get his swing back. Soto with a great day at the plate. Most importantly Gil with a very solid start.

I don't know how many times I said in the old chat and even here a few times: "I don't know if many people are aware how much better Torres is when he goes to right and right center". It became sort of a joke because I said it so often. It's a mantra of everyone except for Gleyber Torres. Paul O'Neill has hammered that home since Gleyber was a rookie. We can add Anthony Volpe to that now as well. Unfortunately yes. When Torres got traded to the Yanks, the scouting report said he goes to right and right center a lot. I said at the old board that the report sounded like a "poor man's Jeter" (remember, he was still considered viable at short then), and I thought if the Yanks got 80% of Jeter, they'd be doing great in the trade. |

I said during yesterday's game thread that a lefty with command issues that was just what the doctor ordered for Judge. Granted he was only 1 for 1 with a host of walks yesterday, but that may have been enough to get him back on track. |

I'm not sure if it's a streaming or TV service, but it replaced Peacock for the early Sunday game. Inger uses it. The game starts at 11:30 AM which is 10:30 start here in Chicago. It's not in YES but it is being shown on Extra Innings and MLB TV. |

Its free but you'll need to make a Roku account. You can watch content available on The Roku Channel from an internet browser like Google Chrome. Additionally, the service is available on any Roku streaming device, Samsung Smart TVs, some Amazon Fire TV devices, in addition to iOS and Android devices.

Thanks for the info. I created a ROKU account that allows me to stream Yankees on my Samsung smart TV. Lets see if it actually works when I attempt to stream it at 11;30(?) |

Been off the grid a couple of days, but finally checking back in and this is a pleasant surprise. Looked like we were sure to be wrecked by the O's, but they seem to be in their own death spiral at be moment. Solid turnaround by the bullpen recently. We just need to find a happy medium between the first ~72 games and the following ~20. Let's get one more before the break. 5 more days and we're homeward bound. I need a vacation from our vacation.
