I was waiting for the National Anthem saw the Players standing on starts in the intfield and heard the singing and thought this was horrible BUT after what happened on Sat I wanted to watch the RNC updates. I go to work at midnight and hear it was one of the worst performances e ever. Feel bad for her. Me too. I gotta question her thinking when she opted for an original version without the help of a other musicians. No cause for the harsh words some wrote about it. Her heart was in the right place. And yes, it was hard to watch or hear. An hour after that post I read that the young lady was intoxicated and is entering rehab. I hope she gets her head on right. |

If the home run derby did nothing else, it gave hope to everyone that they, too, could some day be a grammy nominated singer.

If the home run derby did nothing else, it gave hope to everyone that they, too, could some day be a grammy nominated singer. I am so sick of those who choose to use the singing of The National Anthem as a stage to demonstrate their vocal abilities. If it must be sung before every sporting event, just sing the song. BTW...I know this won't sit well with some here..."God Bless America" is NOT the National Anthem, and requiring fans to stand and remove their caps during its singing is not only totally and completely inappropriate, it also minimizes The National Anthem. |

The need to go back to the All Stars wearing their regular team uniforms. It was always a cool during the introductions, with the players lined up in their uni's.

The fans attending the game like it. It is an ongoing commemoration of what the area experienced on 9/11. Lots of folks in thsi part of the country still deal with issues from that day. Lots of families had their lives changed. At every game I attended since...and I admit that I do not go to many....there were fans who carried their own flags to be part fo the ceremony. I like it. |

oh well. soto works a walk bringing judge who grounds 100 to 3B Soto showing his unique ability to grind out at bats against almost anyone. FOX did show a stat during Soto's at bat that he and Judge have been the best two hitters against high velocity this season. |
