1st pitch sinker to Soto outside middle, Soto belts it high to deep left-center, Soto stands and watches, hits the wall, and the only reason it's an easy double is that no one on the Rays covered 2nd.

Back from my walk to watch the game. Unfortunately, with the weather and work the way it is, the only time for my walks is during the games in the evening so I may miss a little bit of games here and there.
Nice to see we have a 5-1 lead!

Judge misses a thigh-high cutere on the corner away, 0-1
Takes a sinker low, outside middle, 1-1
Takes a slider that maybe clips the corner away above the knees, 1-2. Gameday says 50-50 so yes, it was a strike.
Slider way outside and low, he doesn't chase, 2-2
Takes a slider bounced over the outer 3rd, 3-2.
Thigh high cutter about 3-4 inches off the plate away, served over first, the flare lands for a RBI single, Soto scoring to make it 6-1 Yanks!. Paulie says he broke the bat, too.

Fouls off a waist high cutter on the inside corner, 0-2
Late and under a 94 sinker inside middle, fouls it back and to the left.
Did I miss the Name That Yankee?
Don't remember seeing it, and it's getting late in the game...
Chases a FB just above the top of the zone near middle for the K, and the slump continues...
Top 7, 6-1 Yanks.
Caballero, Walls and back to the top for Palacios for the Rays in the 7th.
Kahnle coming into a low leverage situation, so he should be OK, despite the off days.

Tigers lead the Rays 5-2 bottom 7th in Toronto.
O's lead the Rangers 4-1 bottom 4th in Texas.
Red-Sox Dodgers start in about an hour.

I still don't know how you work from home. My niece does, too, and I am impressed by the discipline of being able to do so. I am way too distractible to get much done, and once I am near my bed, it just looks so inviting. |
