Back from my walk to watch the game. Unfortunately, with the weather and work the way it is, the only time for my walks is during the games in the evening so I may miss a little bit of games here and there.
Nice to see we have a 5-1 lead!
I just got back from my walk too, missed a couple of innings.

Yeah, I missed the Name that Yankee. Kluber. Sigh. Not many that you haven't gotten instantly.

Cole working himself back into what we expect from him and Gill pitching like he did the first two months gives me more hope for a good post season

Palacios takes a change outside ball 1. Swings over a change to the knees in the middle, 1-1 Change almost to the same spot, maybe an inch or two higher, fouled near home, 1-2 Tries to get him to chases a FB high, but he doesn't, 2-2 Blows a FB by him near the high outside corner, but in the zone, K, inning over.
Nice 1-2-3 for Kahnle on 13 pitches with 2 K's. Low leveragee, easy peas lemon squeezy.
Bottom 7, 6-1 Yanks. Torres, Weels and Volpe for the Yanks in their half of the 7th.

Cutter in the zone up and in, fouled off by Volpe, 0-1 Sinker runs well inside, taken, 1-1 Pulls out early again, can't check in time on the slider well outside, knee high. 1-2. Opens up early again, swings over a slider going low near middle, K, 2 down. Volpe has been opening up a lot lately... In the beginning of the year, he was hitting to right and keeping his hip in... Not now, which corresponds directly with his poor hitting.. Exactly right, and if he can't figure out how to stop that and go back to hitting to right, his BAVG is going to wind up where it did last year.

Hard throwing lefty Garret Cleavinger in for the Rays...
Torres...takes a FB (?!?) at 89.6? I don't think so, Gameday, ball 1. Fouls off a cutter below middle at 89.7, 1-1 FB at the top at 97 (that's more like it), taken, maybe got a break, Gameday says 10%, 2-1, and should be 1-2 maybe. Hittable slider below middle, popped foul near the tarp off 1st, J. Lowe comes in and toward the seats, and catches, 1 down.

Wells takes a sinker well high, 1-0 Takes a cutter well low/away 2-0 Swings over a cutter below the knees, outer 3rd, 2-1 Takes a sweeper that backs up inside, 3-1 Another sweeper starts at him, gets a piece of the corner inside, 3-2. Wells didn't think so, but it was 10% on Gamdeay Takes a slider well low and outside, ball 4. Three walks tonight for Wells.

I just got back from my walk too, missed a couple of innings. How's the plantar fasciitis, Chi? It's a lot better, thanks for asking! I've been running for past couple of weeks. My podiatrist gave some new exercises to do that have really helped.

I still don't know how you work from home. My niece does, too, and I am impressed by the discipline of being able to do so. I am way too distractible to get much done, and once I am near my bed, it just looks so inviting. The bed is so inviting I take a midday nap most days! lol.
Then I'm stuck working into the evening. But it works for me with my late night schedule. Can't complain about work. Its pretty easy and no commute or going into the office to worry about 99 percent of the time.

Volpe takes a cutter down and in. Another one makes him skip rope to the opposite batter's box. 2-0 FB on the corner inside, waist high, flared over 1st, but it lands just foul, 2-1 Backdoor cutter, he opwns up early and gives up on it, hits the outer 3rd, taken, 2-2 Slider on the low inside corner, fouled back and to the right. Volpe was stepping into the FB away and going to right with power earlier, but he opened up again, and flailed, barely spoiling.
