Back from my walk to watch the game. Unfortunately, with the weather and work the way it is, the only time for my walks is during the games in the evening so I may miss a little bit of games here and there.
Nice to see we have a 5-1 lead!
I just got back from my walk too, missed a couple of innings. Nice!
I wish there was some other time I could walk. But I tried getting up way early in the morning before work and I just don't have the discipline to do that consistently. Then its just too hot during the day.

How's the plantar fasciitis, Chi? It's a lot better, thanks for asking! I've been running for past couple of weeks. My podiatrist gave some new exercises to do that have really helped. Great to hear Chi! I knew they couldn't keep you down for long!

Fouls off a slider down and in that would've been ball 3. Takes his timeout FB out of the zone up and in, chases ball 4 and fouls it off. FB below and inside middle at 97, he opens up early to try to get to it, and drops his shoulder, missing a crushable FB late and under, fouling it off. Sign. Finally punished for his bad approach, beaten clean on a FB at the top, just inside middle, K. 2 down.

Grisham takes a slider that backed up inside. 1-0 Gets a sinker in the drop the bat happy zone down and in, but fouls it. Mistake cutter right down the middle, and Grisham jumps all over it, but the hard liner is caught by Parades coming off 1st as Wells heads for 2nd on contact, inning over.
Top 8, 6-1 Yanks. 2-3-4 for the Rays in the 8th: Paredes, B. Lowe and Arozarena.

Cousins will be a true Yankee when the announcers finally stop brining up his football playing cousin when he enters a game.

Paredes takes a slider way low and outside, 1-0 A slider near middle is fouled, 1-1 Waist high slider on the corner away, taken, 1-2 Takes his timeout Slider starts inside, breaks to the corner inside, Paredes tries to check and gets lucky it hit his bat, because if it didn't that's strike 3 called. Slider well outside and down, hit off the end of the bat, but the fliner to right is an easy play for Soto, 1 down.

B. Lowe... Takes a sinker well outside, ball 1 Slider in the drop the bat happy zone, he drops the bat on it but the drive down the right side hooks well foul, 1-1 Sinker into the top of the zone, fouled off, 1-2 Slider in the zone, outside middle, and Lowe just missed, hits a high fly to the track in right, plenty of time for Soto to get under it, catches, 2 down.

Great to hear Chi! I knew they couldn't keep you down for long! It took a long time to heal, almost 2 1/2 months. If it took you 2.5 to heal, it would have taken the average man 6.

It took a long time to heal, almost 2 1/2 months. If it took you 2.5 to heal, it would have taken the average man 6. That’s about what it took me… At least 4 months, maybe 6…

Sinker clips the corner inside, thigh-high, 0-1 on DJ Sinker in the zone up and away, late and under, fouled off, 0-2 Another slider hanging up and in, and again he misses a cookie, bounced to Caballero at 3rd, throws him out, 1 down.
